01.05.2015 WATCH!

8 Jan

I hear the LORD saying:

WATCH!

Watch as I turn this house upside down.

Watch as I shake it.

Watch! and see what I the Lord will do to those who have walked in arrogance and have defiled all that they touch.

Watch! and see what I will do to those who abuse the weak and helpless.

Watch! and see what I the Lord will do.

For too long they have said that He does not see.
He will not turn.
We will not burn.

But, Watch! saith the Lord Most High.  For I do see.
I will turn.
They will burn.

I will shake and I will sift and those who are not grafted in, those who are not part of my vine, saith the Lord, those who only have the appearance of my house, will be shaken loose and thrown into outer darkness.

This is the time for the watchmen to stay on their watch night and day and for others to join them. This is the hour for even the simple to take heed to what the watchman declares and not be caught unprepared.

Watch! I say.

Watch!

No longer allow the things of this world to be your focus.  As Israel rebuilt the walls of my city with a weapon in one hand and a tool in the other, so must my people watch and work.  No longer can you afford to be absorbed by the cares of the world.

Again, I say Watch!

Watch and see what I AM doing in this day.  Prepare your heart and your mind day to day, for the Day of the Lord is near.  My people have been lulled into complacency.  I have tarried, but my coming is nearer than you can imagine.

Watch!
And again I say, Watch!

When the Lord spoke this to me, these are things that I immediately saw.

  • When he said that he would “turn this house upside down,” the “house” that I saw was the White House and sensed that He was referring to the current (Obama) administration and this government.
  • When He said, “I will shake and I will sift and those who are not grafted in…not part of my vine…who only have the appearance of my house will be shaken loose…” I saw people wearing chains with big crosses hanging around their necks being held upside down and shaken and these Christian symbols falling off them. I saw people who claim to be Christian but whose lifestyles defy the Word of God being pulled off of the Church like one would pull a leach or slug off of a vine and throw it to the ground.
  • As He said WATCH over and over, I saw people suddenly look up and over their shoulders, and up into the sky with a sense of expectancy and alertness. The look on their faces was that of someone being alert and on the lookout for something about to happen. They were going about their lives but watching as they did so.  It was not fear but resolute I saw on their faces.  I saw complacency turn to engagement.
  • I felt led to count how many times the Lord said “watch”.  There are 13. In Ed Vallowes’ Biblical Mathematics: Keys to Scripture Numerics, he shows how the number 13 in Scripture is associated with depravity and rebellion.  One example he sites is when Jesus names 13 things giving us a picture of the rebellious and depraved heart of man.  “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed (1) evil thoughts, (2) adulteries, (3) fornications, (4) murders, (5) thefts, (6) covetousness, (7) wickedness, (8) deceit, (9) lasciviousness, (10) an evil eye, (11) blasphemy, (12) pride, (13) foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Mark 7:21-23  It is not surprising then that He commanded us 13 times to “watch” what He will do concerning man’s rebellion and depravity in these end times.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”  2 Peter 3:9-14

Jesus said: And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”  Luke 21:34-36

“Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”  Revelation 3:3
