01.16.2008 Terrorist Bombing School Buses

Repeated scene of  a School bus loaded with children about to be bombed.

Fulfilled:  The same day of vision 01.16.08 and 2 weeks later 01.29.08

The Dream:

This morning, Wednesday January 16, 2008, just before I woke up I had a night vision.  I was driving my car on a two-lane country road.  A yellow school bus was coming toward me in the opposite lane.  Suddenly, another vehicle pulled up beside the moving bus as if to pass it, but when it got right beside the bus it stayed the same speed as the bus.  I immediately realized that this was a car bomb and it was going to bomb this bus filled with school children and I knew there was nothing I could do to stop it.  This same vision of the car pulling up beside the school bus repeated itself.  I did not see it explode but I knew it was going to.  At this I woke up.

When I woke up I documented the dream and I prayed for mercy.  I didn’t know to whom or where this would happen, but because of what the Lord had told me about my dreams and visions–that they would not be thwarted, that they would come to pass–then all I could do was pray for God’s mercy.

The Fulfillment:

A few weeks later the Lord brought this vision back to my mind and told me to search the internet for news of this.  I did, and found that this had indeed happened twice in Sri Lanka.  The first took place the same day of my dream and the second attack by the same militants in the area two weeks later.  The following are the headlines concerning these attacks.  The buses used to transport the school children were not yellow and looked like typical mass transit buses…but I realized that if I had not seen them as what our school buses here in America looked like I would not have known that they were targeting school children on their way to school.  And, because the Lord has taught me through other dreams that have been fulfilled, that if I see something repeating itself, it is literally going to happen multiple times.  This proved true of this vision.  In the vision I saw this happen twice.  In the fulfillment, this same thing happened twice…two weeks apart.

Please be aware that if you follow the links there are graphic photos of some of the children and adults killed in these attacks.

(16 Months After The Vision)

Sri Lanka’s 26-year civil war against the Tamil Tigers is officially over.

Reported by Gospel For Asia (GFA) May 22, 2009

The bloody civil war entered its final stages earlier this year and ended with the government’s announcement Monday that it had killed Tamil leader Velupillai Prabhakaran and his son. A short time later, the handful of remaining Tamil fighters surrendered.

Sri Lanka’s civil war between the government and the Tamil Tigers rebel group is now over, and it is time to minister to the survivors, says Gospel for Asia President K.P. Yohannan.

“While the 26-year-long conflict has come to an end by the news of the Tamil Tigers’ surrender, in reality this is the beginning of pain and crisis for hundreds of thousands of people who are displaced,” Dr. Yohannan said. “There are 25,000 now in refugee camps, and the suffering is especially acute among the children and elderly.

“This is one of the greatest challenges and opportunities we have to minister to people in the name of Christ. We have more than 100 churches in Sri Lanka, and our people are engaged in doing whatever they can to help the suffering refugees. This is a drawn-out challenge that will be there for a long time to come.”
