03.21.2002 Pakistan’s President Musharraf~A Two-Headed Snake

A Word of the Lord and a vision warning of Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf concerning the danger of his being an ally with the United States in the war on terror.

Fulfilled: Vision confirmed and fulfilled throughout the years following.

Thurs. Mar. 21, 2002

I woke up around 2AM and as soon as I got up I heard the name Musharraf.  I realized immediately that it was the name of the President of Pakistan.  I went to prayer about this man.  I knew very little about him and didn’t know how to pray so I began by praying the Scriptures–that God would turn the heart of the king as He turns the flow of a river.  I prayed that God would cause Musharraf to be faithful to America and if he had any plans to betray America that they would be thwarted and brought to nothing.  Suddenly, without any forethought, by the Spirit I said, “He is a two-headed snake.”. Immediately I saw a vision of it before me.  I saw a huge snake standing upright from the floor and instead of one head of the snake, there were two.

When I saw this I was reminded of how God would show the prophets of old, creatures with multiple heads.  This usually represented multiple kingdoms, but I sensed that both of these heads belonged to Musharraf alone.  It had the body and heads of a snake.  Nothing was in the form of a man.  The entire thing was a snake which represents evil/enemy/deception–the proverbial snake-in-the-grass.  As I continued to pray over this the Lord showed me that though my nations leaders were in alliance with Musharraf in the war on terror, especially concerning our war in Afghanistan and our pursuit of Osama Ben Laden and the rest of Al Qaeda, Pakistan’s president could not be trusted.  Musharraf was talking out of both sides of his mouth.  Musharraf had dual interests.  No matter which head we were speaking to, they were both attached to a large snake!

Over the past 7 years, and especially in the past year, many articles have come out revealing what has been referred to as the “double game” that Musharraf has played with America from the get-go.  Musharraf came into power through an illegal coup, and while taking over the presidency refused to relinquish his position as General of Pakistan’s military. Thus, one way of seeing the two-headed snake.  The other is in the fact that he has claimed that the U.S. “forced” him to ally with them in the war on terror.  He claimed that Colin Powell gave him an ultimatum to either ally or get bombed.  I have since found several blogs discussing Musharraf and found it quite confirming to see where multiple bloggers literally wrote the words: “Musharraf speaks with forked tongue.”, which as you know, is an age-old reference to what American native Indian’s used in comparing the words of a white man to trusting a venomous snake.  Osama Ben Laden has found safe haven within the borders of Pakistan and Musharraf has not only done nothing about it, he has somehow managed to tie the hands of the U.S. in going in after him.  When the Lord showed me this two-headed snake I knew at that moment that allying with Musharraf was a huge mistake and would be detrimental in the war on terror, the safety of our troops and our quest to capture Ben Laden and the Taliban.

Washington Post blasts Musharraf double game

Slamming Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf for indulging in a “double game” on the issue of fighting terrorist infrastructure in his country, a leading American daily has said the US government should attack Al Qaeda and other terror targets located inside Pakistan “with or without” the “meretricious” military ruler’s cooperation.

In a stinging editorial, the day after the departure of the Pakistani Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, the The Washington Post said ever since the war on terrorism began “this meretricious military ruler (Gen Musharraf) has tried to be counted as a US ally while avoiding an all out campaign against the Islamic extremists in his country” that would perhaps include Osama bin Laden and his top aides.”Despite mounting costs in American lives and resources, he has gotten away with it”.

Pointing that Pakistan has failed to act against extremist groups that carry out terrorist attacks against India and Afghanistan, The Post disputes Musharraf’s “boast”, as recently repeated by Aziz, that Pakistan has arrested hundreds of al Qaeda militants and deployed thousands of troops along the border region.

“Yet Gen Musharraf has never directed his forces against the Pashtun Taliban militants who use Pakistan as a base to wage war against American and Afghan forces across the border. He has never dismantled the Islamic extremist groups that carry out terrorist attacks against India.”

It said Musharraf has not cleaned up the madrassas and has “pardoned and protected” the “greatest criminal proliferator” of nuclear weapons technology in history A Q Khan.

“In keeping with his double game, Gen Musharraf’s government publicly criticized the latest attack even though his intelligence services reportedly cooperated with it. Now he and Aziz…are saying that US forces should carry out no more such attacks” without the approval of Islamabad.”We’ll assume that’s more of their bluster. Even if it is not, Mr. Bush should ignore it,” The Post says stressing that Musharraf perhaps cannot be forced to side decisively with Washington against the terrorists as this administration had once hoped.“But Mr. Bush must take every available measure to eliminate the al Qaeda and Taliban operations in Pakistan. If targets can be located they should be attacked — with or without Gen Musharraf’s cooperation,” the editorial said.

Time for Musharraf to Go

Time for Musharraf to Go
By Amitabh Pal

March 23, 2007

2007 hasn’t been kind to Pakistani dictator General Pervez Musharraf, a key ally of the United States.

First, Dick Cheney popped in on a “surprise” visit to warn Musharraf that he needs to cooperate more wholeheartedly against Al Qaeda and the Taliban or face a cutoff of the billions in aid money that the United States has provided since 2001. And, in recent days, Musharraf’s firing of Pakistan’s chief justice has ignited nationwide protests.

Musharraf has played a double game with the United States since 9/11. He has gone after the Taliban only to the extent that he has been forced to do so by the Bush Administration. This is due to two obsessions that Pakistan has had since its creation: First, to counter India, in this case by having a friendly government in place in Afghanistan. And, second, to ensure that any Afghan regime not become too big for its britches. So, in spite of loud complaints by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and consternation in the West, Musharraf’s regime hosts the Taliban leadership in Quetta, the capital of the province of Baluchistan.

Cheney’s gambit is to have the Democrat-controlled Congress play the role of bad cop. On his trip to Pakistan in late February, Cheney cautioned Musharraf that the new Congress may not be as indulgent toward Pakistan as the previous one in keeping the aid spigot open.

The flow of aid really matters to Pakistan, since, as per the estimate of Derek Chollet of the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the country has received $10 billion in official aid since 2001, and possibly an equal amount covertly!

That’s huge, especially for a country with such precarious finances.

Pakistan smarted at Cheney’s warning, but promptly delivered the Taliban’s defense chief, Mullah Obaidullah, as an offering. The question, though, is how long can Musharraf play this balancing game without alienating the United States, the people in Pakistan’s Pashtun tribal regions (where the Taliban has significant support), or both?

As the people of Pakistan are showing, it’s time for Musharraf to go.

OSAMA bin LADEN is dead but the two-headed snake is still alive

Posted May 10, 2011

On March 21, 2002, nine years ago, the Lord spoke the name Musharraf to me and then gave me a vision of a two-headed snake standing upright like a man.  He caused me to understand that the president of Pakistan could not be trusted as an ally in the war on terror.  As the revelation that U.S. special forces had finally located and killed America’s “Enemy #1”, Osama bin Laden, the location of his safe-house has brought into question the complicity of the Pakistani government.  Because of what the Lord showed me in 2002, I’ve believed for the past nine years that the only reason we have not already captured or killed Osama bin Laden is because Pakistan’s leadership was not only preventing it, but that they were in fact harboring this mass murderer within their borders and refusing to allow the U.S. access into their country nor access to their intel.  I have felt that their part in the war on terror was nothing more than a ruse–and a ruse that gained them billions of U.S. dollars.  Even after Musharraf left office, I believe the Pakistani government, its new president, and its military have continued on with the same ruse as during Musharraf’s reign.  When I say, “the two-headed snake is still alive”, I am referring to the deceiving, dual agenda of this corrupt government.

From what has been reported, this long-awaited victory over bin Laden and the Taliban came from the diligence and patience of U.S. intelligence, and the commitment of the military’s most elite and heroic special forces.  Our execution of this mission into Pakistan without their knowledge or approval speaks volumes, and the mixed message coming out of their former president and their current leadership confirms that the two-headed snake is indeed still alive and ruling Pakistan.  Musharraf, as well as other Pakistani leadership made public statements that again sent mixed or dual messages–stating that the killing of bin Laden was a good thing yet condemning the U.S. for breaching their borders without permission.  They declared it an assault on their nations sovereignty, and complained that THEY should have been told and THEY should have been the ones to go in and get bin Laden.

The revelation of where Obama has been hold up has brought Pakistan under great scrutiny by not only our government leaders, but by the public in general.  The average John Q. Citizen can easily see Pakistan’s dual agenda. There has been headline after headline bringing attention to this very thing–headlines such as:

Pakistan accused of playing bin Laden ‘double game’

People can speculate until the cows come home, the talking heads can debate it and the Pakistani government can deny it,  but what we need to hear is what the LORD our GOD has to say about it.  I am so thankful that He still speaks and reveals prophetically what we need to know and understand.  He does not want us to be in the dark.  He calls His children, “the children of light” (1 Thes. 5:5).  We must walk in the light as He is in the light  (1 John 1:7).

America was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and our founding fathers set up a government and constitution based on those beliefs, but over the years we have been guilty of what God’s people Israel were guilty of–forgetting God.  When a nation that was founded on the Bible chooses to dismiss the Bible, then that nation is doomed to make decisions that will bring its ultimate destruction.  When a nation refuses to seek Almighty God, and instead seeks to ally itself with wicked nations who hate Yehweh, that nation is walking in darkness. And how great the darkness!

God desires to give revelation to His children.  At the time that the Lord gave me this revelation concerning President Musharraf, I knew very little about him or his government.  Everything I had seen in the media and reported from the White House portrayed him as a faithful ally in the ‘war on terror’, and every photo-op or video clip with President Bush made him appear as a great friend of the U.S.  This could not have been further from the truth.  So, I admonish you.  Do not neglect the GIFT that is within you–the GIFT of His Holy Spirit.  Do not grieve Him.  Do not insult the Spirit of Grace with unbelief, disobedience, and religious tradition.  It is vital in this hour that we are living, that we walk with and hear from the Lord.  We are living in a time of great deception.   Men lie, but Yehweh, the LORD God Almighty, and His Son Yeshua (Jesus) is Faithful and True.  He alone is our Peace and our Hope.  He is the one that we should be seeking.  He is the one that we should be consulting.  Repent, and give your life to Him, for in Him alone is salvation.  (John 3:16-17)

UPDATE 10.03.2011

The following article from The Bloomberg View is more confirmation of what the Lord spoke to me and showed me concerning Pakistan and its leadership not being a friend of America and cannot be trusted as an ally in the War on Terror.  It also confirms that by pouring funds into Pakistan, we are equipping our enemy with the weapons to fight us.  A nation that has rejected Almighty God, walks in absolute foolishness and will bring destruction upon itself.

Mullen’s Testimony Challenges Pakistani Leaders on Terror: View

By the Editors Sep 22, 2011 7:00 PM CT

Since Barack Obama’s inauguration, officials have insisted that Pakistan is “a partner” of the U.S. in the fight against terrorism.

That’s why we find it so dramatic and troubling that Admiral Michael Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate Armed Services Committee yesterday, according to his prepared testimony, that the Quetta Shura, the Taliban’s supreme military and political command, and the Haqqani Network “operate from Pakistan with impunity. Extremist organizations serving as proxies of the government of Pakistan are attacking Afghan troops and civilians as well as U.S. soldiers. For example, we believe the Haqqani Network — which has long enjoyed the support and protection of the Pakistani government and is, in many ways, a strategic arm of Pakistan’s Inter- Services Intelligence Agency — is responsible for the Sept. 13th attacks against the U.S. Embassy in Kabul. There is ample evidence confirming that the Haqqanis were behind the June 28th attacks against the Inter-Continental Hotel in Kabul and the Sept. 10th truck bomb attack that killed five Afghans and injured another 96 individuals, 77 of whom were U.S. soldiers.”

He went on to declare that, “The actions by the Pakistani government to support them — actively and passively –represent a growing problem that is undermining U.S. interests and may violate international norms, potentially warranting sanction.”

We note that Mullen is the Obama administration official who has spent the most time with Pakistan’s de-facto ruler, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, the chief of army staff.

Mullen is now charging that the Taliban and the Haqqani Network are not only supported by the Pakistani government (as was said previously), but also that they are its proxies. If true, this raises a series of profound questions about the provision of U.S. military and economic assistance to Pakistan, the overall relationship between the two countries, and the U.S. ability to withdraw its forces from Afghanistan. We would expect that in the coming days explanations are provided regarding this new assessment, its significance and to what extent it will provoke changes in the U.S. approach to the region.
